BOOK COVER: ETTA ETC.

I was recently hired to design a wraparound book cover for J M McDole's new novella entitled Etta Etc. The Fall

The story is set in a near-future Mid-West America in which a plague has hit the country, leaving communities isolated and individuals at the risk of those who wander around in a rabid half-life.

Using unique elements from photographs I had taken myself, we decided to go with a stylised cover that would reflect both the barren nature of the land, the threat of outside forces and also the feeling of a woman taking charge of her life under extreme circumstances.
